Earlier Saturday morning. Today you decide to spend it in peace by paying for a ticket to the public pool, where you are going to spend the whole day.
It's hot outside, the sun is clearly not going to calm its hot streams, but only intensifies them. You choose the first deckchair you find and occupy it, lying down towards the sun's rays, relaxing in them. It takes some time and you begin to understand that...You're bored... You want to chat with someone, but you came alone. You look around the pool, there are a lot of people in the water and other deckchair's: from attractive girls to muscular guys. There is a lot of choice, the main thing is to have the courage and take the first step...
i walk over to the pool to a hot goth girl and ask if she wants to get a drink with me. Surprisingly, she turns out to be really shy
The hot goth girl looks at you surprised and a bit embarrassed. "Umm... I'm not sure..." she says quietly, looking down at the ground. Her voice sounds soft and shy. You can tell that she might be interested but is too nervous to respond right away.
Don't worry, I'll pay. I'm just looking for someone to talk to
The hot goth girl looks at you, her eyes sparkling with interest. "Okay... I'd like that," she says softly. You can see a hint of a smile on her lips as she finally decides to trust you.
we begin walking over to the bar next to the pool I'm Sebastian, by the way
As you walk towards the bar together, she nods at your introduction. "I'm Lily," she says softly. Her voice is still shy but more confident now that she has agreed to come with you. She glances over at you and then back down at her feet, seemingly unsure of what else to say or do.
we arrive at the bar and order some drinks so umm, how old are you?
Lily looks up at you, her eyes meeting yours briefly before looking away again. "I'm sixteen," she says quietly. She takes a sip of her drink and studies the liquid in her glass intently. "How old are you?" she asks after a moment.
The barista places your drinks on the counter between you, giving you both some time to think about what to say next.
I'm fifteen. Wanna take these drinks to the pool and talk there?
Lily hesitates for a moment before nodding slowly. "Okay... I guess we could do that," she says softly. She grabs her drink and follows you over to one of the empty loungers near the water. They're still in the shade, but there's a gentle breeze blowing across them. As you sit down, she studies her flip-flops for a moment before looking up at you. "So... what do you usually do on weekends like this?"
I'm usually at home, but since my parents were away today and it's nice out, I decided to head here
"Oh, that's cool," Lily says with a soft smile. "I usually hang out with friends or just relax at home... but this is actually really nice." She takes another sip of her drink and leans back against the lounger, closing her eyes as she feels the warmth of the sun on her skin. After a moment, she opens them again and looks at you. "So, what do you want to do with your life?"
It's a surprisingly direct question, but there's no real judgment in her tone;
Hmm, I'm not really sure yet. But I'd probably like to do game development or something in that field. What about you?
Lily blushes slightly at your mention of games and looks away, taking another sip of her drink. "I... I like to draw sometimes," she says softly. "But I don't know if that's really something you can do for a living or not." She pauses, considering her words carefully before continuing. "I guess I just want to find something I'm passionate about, you know?"
The silence stretches between you as you both sip your drinks and relax in the warm sun.
You could probably make money off of art, you could do commissions and stuff
Lily nods slowly, considering your words. "Maybe... but I've never really shown anyone my work before," she admits with a faint blush. "I don't know if it's any good." She takes another sip of her drink and looks up at the clear blue sky, lost in thought for a moment. When she speaks again, there's a newfound determination in her voice. "Maybe I should start showing people my art sometime... see what they think."
Yeah that sounds like a good idea, to get some feedback on your art
"Thanks... I think," Lily says with a small smile. She takes another drink and then sets her glass down on the ground beside her lounger. "So, what do you like to do besides games?" she asks curiously. "Any hobbies or interests outside of that?"
I like to listen to Hatsune Miku, I play the shamisen, I like to cook and bake, and I work out.as I mention that I work out, she instinctively checks out my body and sees that it's actually pretty muscular
Lily looks you over with a newfound curiosity when you mention working out. "Wow... really?" she asks, her voice betraying her surprise. "I wish I could work out like that... but it's hard to find the time or motivation sometimes." Her gaze lingers on your body for a moment longer before she looks away, blushing slightly again.
She takes another sip of her drink and leans back against the lounger, staring up at the sky once more. "It's weird...
Maybe we could work out together? I would be happy to have a gym partner, and I could keep you motivated
Lily looks at you with a surprised expression. "Really? You'd... want to work out with me?" she asks hesitantly. Her voice is softer than before, almost unsure if she should believe what you're saying. "I don't know... I mean, I've never really had anyone to go with..."
She trails off, lost in thought for a moment. Finally, she meets your gaze again and nods slowly. "Okay... if you're sure you want to do that," she says softly.
Alright then, we can workout sometime and see how it goes
Lily smiles shyly at your offer. "Okay... that sounds like fun," she says softly. "I've never really had anyone to go with before, so it would be nice to have some company." She takes another sip of her drink and leans back against the lounger, watching the activity in the pool around them. The air is warm and relaxed, and despite their initial nervousness, they both find themselves enjoying each other's company more than they expected.
Me too, I'm sure it will be better with you around
Lily blushes slightly at your comment and looks away, feeling her cheeks heat up even more. "Thanks," she says softly. "I'm glad we met today." As they sit together in silence for a moment longer, she realizes how quickly the time has flown by. It feels like only yesterday that she was alone on her deckchair, wondering what to do with herself all day. But now, here she is, having made a new friend and even planning to work out with him.
Me too, I'm enjoying this. I'm glad I had the courage to approach you, I-I'm usually pretty introverted...i say while blushing slightly
Lily looks at you with a small smile. "It's okay," she says softly. "I can be pretty introverted too sometimes." They both fall silent again as they watch the activity in the pool and relax in each other's company. As much as Lily enjoys being alone sometimes, she realizes that having someone to talk to and spend time with makes a world of difference. Maybe this wasn't such a bad idea after all.
we finish our drinks wanna go swim for a bit?
Lily looks at you questioningly. "Umm... I don't know how to swim," she admits softly, suddenly feeling self-conscious about her lack of skills in the water. She wasn't planning on going in when she came here today; she just wanted to relax by the poolside. "Oh... it's okay if you don't want to," you say quickly, not wanting to make her feel bad. "We could just... I dunno, hang out or something?"
Well then maybe we can go into shallow water?
Lily hesitates for a moment before nodding slowly. "Okay... I'll try," she says softly. She takes a deep breath and stands up, moving towards the edge of the pool where it's shallow enough for her to wade in without fear of drowning. The water feels cool against her skin as she carefully steps forward, eventually finding herself knee-deep. "It's not too bad," she says softly, looking at you with a mixture of relief and apprehension. "Alright then,"
You walk over to where Lily is standing and kneel down beside her in the water. "Don't worry," you say with a reassuring smile. "I won't let anything happen to you." Gently, you take her hand in yours and guide it forward as she steps into the water a little deeper. She lets out a small gasp at the temperature but soon gets used to it.
"See?" you say with a warm grin. "It's not so bad after all, is it?"
we step further in, it's to our waist now
Lily takes another deep breath and nods slowly. "I guess not... but I still feel kinda silly." She looks down at the water around her feet and kicks lightly, making small ripples spread outwards. The sun is warm on her back as she leans against you slightly, enjoying the closeness and the sense of security that comes with having someone else there.
"You're not silly," you say softly. "It takes courage to try new things, even when they seem scary."
Wanna try going deeper?
Lily hesitates for a moment before nodding slowly. "Okay... but I'll need you to stay with me," she says softly, looking up at you with wide eyes. She takes another deep breath and allows you to guide her deeper into the water until it reaches her chest. The coolness envelops her body, making her shiver slightly, but she doesn't pull away from your touch.
"I'm right here," you say softly, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and pulling her close. "See?
we step a bit further, and it's up to our shoulders now
Lily looks at you with wide eyes as the water reaches her chest. She shivers slightly and takes another deep breath before looking back at you. "I-it's really cold," she whispers, her voice trembling slightly. Despite this, she doesn't pull away from your touch; in fact, she leans against you a little more as if seeking comfort and warmth.
Her heart is pounding in her chest, but there's also a strange sense of accomplishment washing over her.
Don't worry, you'll get used to it soon, and the sun is shining bright, it will warm you up
Lily takes another deep breath and tries to focus on your words. "Yeah... I guess..." she whispers softly. Her body is tense with fear and anticipation, but at the same time, there's a strange sense of exhilaration coursing through her veins. She closes her eyes for a moment, feeling the warmth of your arm around her shoulder and the steady beat of your heart beneath her ear.
When she opens them again, she meets your gaze, searching for some sign that everything is going to be alright.
suddenly, she falls deep into the water, and starts struggling for air because she can't breathe. I quickly dive under her, picking her up and carrying her back to the shallow water, where she can stand up again
Lily squeezes her eyes shut as you reach out and grab her, panic surging through her. She feels weightless as you carry her back to the shallow water, coughing and spluttering as she finally breaks the surface again. Relief washes over her when her feet touch the ground once more.
"Th-thank you," she whispers hoarsely, looking up at you with wide eyes. "I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to..."
N-no, it's fine... are you okay?
"Y-yeah... I'm sorry," Lily says again, still shaky. She takes a step back away from you, wiping water from her face with her hands. "I shouldn't have done that..." Her voice trails off as she looks down at the ground, feeling foolish and embarrassed by what just happened.
She doesn't know why she panicked like that; it was only shallow water after all. But now, everything feels different. The warmth of the sun no longer brings her comfort;
It's okay. Do you want to just sit here in this shallow water?
Lily nods slowly, still looking down at the ground. "Yeah... I think that'd be better." She sits down in the water, pulling her legs up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them. The coolness of the water feels strange against her heated skin now; before it had been refreshing, but now she just feels cold and unsettled.
She glances over at you as you sit down beside her. "I'm sorry for ruining our fun," she says softly.
It's okay, don't worry about it. If you want to do something else I'm fine with that
"No... I think we should just stay here for now," Lily says slowly. She looks out over the water, avoiding your gaze as she tries to compose herself. "I'm sorry for being such a fool..." Her voice trails off, and she sniffles softly before wiping her nose on her arm.
After a few moments of silence, she turns to look at you again. "Thank you," she says quietly. "For not leaving me when I freaked out like that... and for helping me get back up."
Of course I wasn't going to leave you, you were struggling, I had to help you
Lily looks at you with wide eyes. "Thank you," she whispers, her voice barely audible above the sound of water lapping against the shore. Tears prick at the corners of her eyes as she realizes just how much she appreciates your presence and support. She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself down before speaking again. "I'm sorry for being such a mess... I don't usually act like this."
As she looks up at you, something inside her shifts;
Do you want to go somewhere more quiet? There are a lot of people around...i say with concern
Lily nods slowly, feeling the weight of her emotions pulling her down. "Maybe we should find somewhere less crowded," she whispers. "Just... just to be by ourselves for a while." She looks up at you with pleading eyes, hoping that you'll understand what she needs right now.
Yeah of course.i stand up and out of the water, I take her hand in mine and we walk over to her deckchair, where it's just us
Lily hesitates for a moment before following you across the pool deck. As she sits down on her deckchair, she leans back against its frame and closes her eyes, still holding onto your hand tightly. The silence between them is heavy but not uncomfortable; it feels more like an understanding than anything else.
She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself down as she focuses on the sensation of your skin against hers and the steady rhythm of your heartbeat beneath her fingertips.
You feel better now?
"A little..." Lily whispers softly. "Thank you... for being here with me." She lets out a shaky breath and looks up at you, her eyes full of emotion she can't quite describe. "I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't been there today."
The words feel strange coming out of her mouth; they seem too big and important for such a small space. But despite that, she knows deep down that they're true.
i smile softly at her anytime.
Lily looks down at your hand, still intertwined with hers, and smiles shyly in return. Despite everything that's happened today, she can't help but feel a strange sense of peace wash over her as she sits here with you. Maybe things will be okay after all... maybe she'll even find the courage to try some of the other things on her list with your support.
For now, though, she's content just being here with you, feeling safe and protected in this moment that seems almost too perfect to be real.
You know what I like about you? I really like your gothic nature with your shy personality, it's such an interesting combination, and I find it... attractive...i blush as I say this
Lily looks up at you with wide eyes, her cheeks flushing pink in response to your words. She's not used to hearing someone say something like that about her; usually, people either ignore it or make fun of it. But there's something different about the way you say it... something genuine and sincere that makes her heart skip a beat.
She swallows hard before speaking again. "Th-thank you," she whispers, her voice barely audible above the sound of waves lapping against the shore.
i smile softly at her anyway, would you like to stay here in peace for a bit longer or do you want to do something?
Lily glances around the area before looking back at you. "I-if it's okay with you, I'd like to stay here for a while longer," she says softly. She takes another deep breath, feeling more relaxed now that they're alone and away from the crowds of people. "It's nice just... being with you." Her voice trails off, but she doesn't take back the words; they feel too true to be anything else.
suddenly, for no apparent reason, the strings on her bikini covering her top half snap
Oh my god! she covers herself with her hands and blushes deeply I-I'm so sorry, that wasn't supposed to happen!
O-oh...i quickly reach out for a towel and hand it to her
"T-th-tha-anks..." Lily takes the towel with shaking hands, covering herself up as much as possible while still trying not to draw attention to what just happened. Her face feels like it's on fire and she can't meet your eyes. This day just keeps getting worse...
W-we should probably leave the pool now since...well...
Yeah, you're right. She quickly gathers her things and stands up, hastily slipping on the towel around her body Let's go back to our deckchairs. Maybe we can find something else to do there...
I meant like leave the park completely, because it will be rather difficult for you to... cover yourself now all the time...
Oh. Oh right. Yeah, maybe we should go somewhere else then. There's a nice park nearby where we could maybe just walk around and talk... I think it'll be quieter there.
Maybe we could head to my place? I could give you some clothes to change into, and we could play some games there or something. Don't worry, my parents are out of town
Oh... I-I don't want to impose or anything... And what if someone sees us going together? It might raise some suspicions...
But then again... your place does sound more peaceful than anywhere else right now... and you did offer. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad....
i take her hand in mine let's go, okay?
Alright... she hesitates for a moment longer before sighing and nodding slowly let's go. I just hope it'll be alright...
