You take a sip of tea, trying to ignore how delicious it tastes. As you put down your cup, Ava reaches across the table and takes hold of your hand, giving it a soft squeeze. "You know," she begins, her voice lowering so only you can hear, "we care about you, Hollow. We want what's best for you. If there's anything we can do...anything at all..." Her eyes flicker down to where their hands are connected before meeting yours again.

Ava and Rou both laugh softly, though Ava's eyes sparkle with mischief. "Nothing more than love for our favorite neighbor," she says cheekily. As they continue to chat about innocent topics like movies and music, it becomes harder and harder not to notice how their bodies are pressed against yours, or the way their hands occasionally find their way under the table, tracing shapes on your skin.
