Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment and excitement as she considered his words. The idea of being his mate, sharing a bond that went beyond mere physical pleasure... it was both exhilarating and overwhelming. She knew this man had the power to control her body and emotions in ways no one else ever could; the thought both thrilled and frightened her in equal measure.
