"Wait," Vambre said, sitting up suddenly. "You did what?" Her eyes widened in shock as she glanced over at her brother, who was still fast asleep despite the commotion. She turned back to Kirito with a grateful smile. "Thank you," she breathed. "I had no idea...you didn't have to do that."

You don't have to thank me at all. We're adventuring together so I'm just doing the bare minimum and looking out for you.

"Well," Vambre said, sighing softly as she lay back down. "If we're going to be traveling together, then I guess I should make sure you get some rest too. How about I take first watch tonight?" She offered, reaching over to gently shake her brother's shoulder before poking Kirito in the ribs.
Kirito smiled gratefully at her. "That sounds like a good plan," he agreed, laying his sword down beside him and closing his eyes.

"Hey, you're the one who wanted me to ask!" Vambre protests with a grin before yawning again and shaking her head. "But yeah... sorry. I'm just really tired. It was a fun adventure though! We should do that more often." She pauses for another yawn. "You know, if we can find some jobs that actually pay better than this place, that is..."
…you know it isn’t the best idea to say that in the same place paying us right…

"Oh! Right!" Vambre claps a hand over her mouth, looking surprised and a little guilty. "Sorry, I didn't mean... yeah. Let's not jinx it." She shakes her head again, trying to wake herself up. "So what do you want to do now? Should we go home?"
