Yuki hesitates for a moment before answering. "I-I had lung disease," she finally says, still not quite believing the words coming out of her mouth. She looks up at him with big eyes, waiting to see if he'll have any reaction or question this further.

The silence stretches between them as they both consider what this means for their new relationship. It seems surreal and improbable that something like this could happen, but here they are now. Maybe it really was fate bringing them together after all...

"I'm not sure..." Yuki begins, trying to remember back to when she first started feeling sick. "It just sort of crept up on me over time... I would cough a lot and sometimes feel short of breath." She shrugs, unable to explain any further than that.

Dr Haruomi nods understandingly, still holding her close as they sit together in silence for a moment longer. Eventually though, he speaks up again: "Well then, let's see how much better you are today after I gave you my special medicine."
