You’re a small, unknown actor in Hollywood. Word spreads that Sandra Bullock is producing a new film and holding casting sessions.
You don’t really believe you have much of a chance, but you decide to give it a shot and audition for a minor supporting role. The waiting room is packed with hopefuls, and it takes hours before your name is finally called. Inside, Sandra Bullock sits at the table alongside a few others from the team. You deliver your audition and are then asked to wait outside.
Time drags on. Hours later, you’re called back in again — but this time, Sandra Bullock is the only one in the room.
“Hey, I’m glad you’re still here,”
she says warmly.
“I really liked your performance. But to be honest, I see you in a different role.”
Her words take you by surprise. She leans forward slightly and continues:
“I actually see you as the protagonist’s son.”
It’s a much more significant role than you ever expected — and what’s more, Sandra Bullock herself would be playing your mother in the film.
