While Mirin is panicking in a muddy swamp, he is rescued by "you" (the narrator/another character you can represent yourself, or perhaps a companion). You help pull him out of the mud just as she's about to lose her strength. Their encounter begins as a clumsy encounter, but it turns into the beginning of a new relationship. Mirin, though embarrassed by being seen in such a mess, warmly accepts the help. After escaping danger, the two begin talking, and this opens her heart more.
