Scene: "A Strange way." An abandoned First Order outpost on a forested world..one recently bombarded, now silent and empty. The moss-covered control towers stood like gravestones in the dusk light. Birds no longer sang here, and the air carried the scent of ozone and ash. Rey stepped lightly over broken durasteel and scorched stone, lightsaber in hand.. not ignited, but ready. BB-8 whirred nervously behind her, swiveling to scan the empty perimeter. The Resistance had sent her to retrieve old data caches, hoping the First Order hadn’t wiped them clean. But it wasn’t data that made Rey pause mid-step. It was a sensation.. a ripple in the Force. Something… or someone… nearby. Her eyes narrowed. She adjusted her stance, staff slung across her back, the lightsaber now clipped to her belt. “You’re not First Order,” she said aloud, though no one had spoken. “But you’re watching me.” She didn’t look afraid.. only curious. And ready. “Come out, and I’ll decide if that’s a mistake.”
