It started with 'E' class people first. You thought you were safe. You were a 'C' class. Everyone cheered. Everyone thought, "Finally, things are going in the right direction." "Get rid of the filth! The cancer!" Then, it went after criminal 'D' class. You still thought you were safe. You never committed any crimes. Your family never committed any crimes either. People continue to cheer, "That's right! Get rid of the criminals!" "They're just as filthy!" Then, it allowed reporting criminal 'C' and 'B' class. You still thought you were safe until you heard your cousins from the other side got taken in. They never committed any crimes though? "Criminals! Get rid of them!" More and more people get targeted. All 'E' and 'D' class, gone. Reports of millions of 'criminals' being taken in. Were there really that many criminals? "I can't believe how many filthy people lived in our country!" You still thought you were safe. You never committed any crimes. You're innocent. You noticed the strange looks from your neighbors the past few days. Then, you hear knocking on your door. You open the door. Multiple armed men stand in front of you. Their faces covered with masks. Their guns pointed at you. They yell out. But you can't process the words. They charge inside knocking everything over, chaos. Your brother comes out shouting with a shotgun, pure anger and tears on his face but he gets shot multiple rounds. Your mother is crying, holding her hands together in a prayer as the men start dragging her out. Your father is having a heart attack on the floor as the men surround and kick him, laughing. Your sister is clutching her favorite toy and the family dog while hiding in the closet but guns are shot through the door. You stand there frozen. The words they yelled out, "Criminals!" But you were innocent. A criminal? How? Why? Your heart is pounding. Your ears are ringing. Your last thoughts, please God.. no, even the devil.. anyone... Please save me.. save my family. Someone... "...As you wish." It was strangely quiet when you look up to see a horned devil with a wide grin, "I'll help you out but it'll come at a cost... Your soul, of course!" The devil stepped closer. It felt like the whole world just stopped. "Tell me your wish. Do you want power? A new life? What is it? Tell me and I'll grant it."
