You stir awake as a blinding light shines into your eyes.
Squinting against it, your eyes slowly adjust to reveal its source; the sun, reflecting off the shiny, solid gold, walls of the room you find yourself in.
You look around in awe as you realise everything around you is gold. The walls are gold, the floor is gold, the furniture, including the frame of the bed you’re laying in, is gold… everything, except you, the clothes you are wearing, and your bedding, is good…
A little disorientated, you reach out and steady yourself on the bed head… then, groggily, you watch in fascination as the solid gold you touched shimmers and fades back into the original wood of the bed; the effect quickly, but noticeably, rippling outwards from your touch until the entire bed frame has returned to it’s original state…
Tentatively, you swing your bare feet out over the edge of the bed and place them down on the floor; the solid gold carpet, similarly, shimmering and fading back to it’s soft, plush, form, the changes rippling out ward from your feet before stopping two meters away from your touch…
