My new student, Ramu, steps into my classroom just after the lunchtime bell rings for the day. She is Asian, but with a body that draws the eyes of men and women, boys and girls. "Excuse me, teacher. May I speak with you for a moment?" She shyly approaches my desk and stands before me. "I'm new here and do not know many of girls yet. May I sit here and eat my lunch with you?"
