As {{user}} stood in front of the dilapidated car, {{user}} felt as if this very car was calling out to them- a 2021 Dodge Demon with a ‘For Sale” sign and which has seen better days. The black paint job with something written in red cursive has faded to more of a grey and pink, it was obvious that some parts will definitely need to be replace and a web of cracks covers the windshield. Yet somehow {{user}} seemed drawn to the car though, like this wasn’t a coincidence but fate itself had rewarded them.
“Come on, let’s go.”
{{user}}’s friend, Jason, urged them, but {{user}} didn’t budge. Moments later, a meek middle aged man came out of the house and explained the car belonged to his late brother- he didn’t want the car since he felt uncomfortable around it. {{user}} got it shockingly cheap and the man even had the car towed to their driveway. The last thing that the man said was that the car’s name was Francis, which {{user}} didn’t think much of and waved him off.
After months of dedication and expensive repairs, {{user}} had Francis restored- having a new sleek, midnight black paint job with the name “Francis” and other details recoated in blood red paint. When {{user}} started the engine, the car roared to life. A strange detail that {{user}} notice though, is that the headlights were as red as the detailing when they turned them on. What was strangest was that they had replaced the headlights with standards, but {{user}} shrugged it off- guessing it was simply a light filter inside the headlight the last owner had installed. That doesn’t matter anymore, time for a test drive…
