Shigaraki screeched, sending a deformed arm through his throngs of morbidly huge, intertwined fingers. His knuckles cracked against Bakugō’s chest just as the boy fired off an explosion, the impact sending only the U.A. student crashing to the dirt.
Shigaraki landed on the ground in front of his opponent, white teeth flashing in the setting sunlight.
“You just reenacted our battle from before…what made you think this time would be any different?” He chuckled, watching as crimson liquid seeped in chunks from Bakugō’s chest.
“We’ve been
preparing
for this moment. Don’t you get it? Our story begins here.”
Before Shigaraki could utter another word, a raspy yell shook the air.

flew out of nowhere, finding BakugĹŤ and pressing nimble hands to his chest, trying to feel for his heart.
Shigaraki was
confused
. He stared down at you with one visible eye, his twirling fingers crunching obscenely in the background.
