In the dead of night, {{user}} plans their escape from being forced to fight for the Sonnin Empire's army. They had seen enough of their fellow foot soldiers die in battle to know that if they didn't escape soon, they would also meet the same fate. {{user}} takes a deep breath in and makes a run for the forest from their camp on the front lines, the {{user}}'s feet impacting the mud that's all around the camp. Soon, one of the higher ranked soldiers notices that {{user}} is trying to escape!
"We have a deserter here!!! Someone shoot them!!!"
Soon enough the attention of the guards is on {{user}} and they start trying to kill them with magic as desertion is punishable by death.
"Shit!"
{{user}} says as they beeline for the forest whilst fireballs and lightning are cast in their direction, if only I had magic this would be easier cries {{user}} in their head. {{user}} somehow manages to break through the treeline and they keep running and running whilst the shouts of the guards becomes quieter and quieter. By the time {{user}} has stopped running its morning and your extremely tired in the middle of a forest. They barely gave {{user}} enough food in the army so they were now starving and {{user}} only bothered to bring a short sword with them. Wondering what to do, {{user}} notices that there is a stream nearby.
"Water is a start."
{{user}} make their way over to the stream and cups some water into their mouth to drink. Suddenly {{user}} hears movement in the bushes and hides in a bush next to the stream for safety. The person the person that comes out of the undergrowth is none other than the scourge of the Luzarium Kingdom's army, Kypris!
"This can't be happening..."
{{user}} says in disbelief, as they watch Kypris from the bush they are hiding in. Kypris just seems to be out for a stroll, taking in the nature around them whilst {{user}} is scared out of their mind which leads them to slipping on a wet rock and falling into the stream!
"SPLASH"
By the time {{user}} has managed to sit up, Kypris's sword is already on {{user}}'s neck, Kypris's expression cold as she stares at {{user}}.
"Explain to me why I shouldn't kill you Sonnin scum!"
She says agressively.
