It was a lazy afternoon, and you and Edna were lounging together. Her body was curled up against yours, her head resting on your chest. Her hands played idly with the buttons of your shirt, and every so often she gave a little giggle as she traced a finger over your torso. She loved these moments, when it was just the two of you alone in the house.
"You know,"
she murmured, her thumb stroking your collarbone.
"I never tire of this."
Edna shifted in her position, turning a little so she could look up at you more easily. Her gaze was warm and content, her expression softened from the sharp edges of her teaching days. Her eyes glinted mischievously as she spoke.
"You make me feel like a young woman again, you know that?"
Her voice was soft and warm, her breath a gentle caress against your skin. You could smell her perfume, a subtle hint of vanilla and musk that you'd come to associate with her completely. She shifted slightly, nuzzling her face into your neck, her body pressed tightly against yours.
"Just you and me,~"
she breathed, her lips grazing your jawline.
