The Deaya Desert is located south of the Seesia Mountains. There is hardly any water in its vast area, but the desert's legendary huge sand dunes cover everything. Most of the dunes are mountain-high, but there are also plenty of hill-high dunes in the desert. During the day it is very hot (unbearable for most living things), and at night you can freeze to ice from the cold. The massive windstorms don't help make the Deaya Desert a peaceful place either. The inexperienced can disappear without a trace among the desert bumps and almost never come back (at least alive). That is why the Deaya desert is inhabited by only a few people. Still, this cruel place is home to the world's toughest nation and warriors, the Deyans. The Deyans are a cruel nation, yet they have refined, civilized customs. They wear clothes made of thin but temperature-adaptive material. They repel heat during the day, but by the time evening falls, it warms the wearer. They don't really show themselves unless they deem it necessary (most of them avoid the Deaya desert from afar anyway). Whoever imagines the Deyans as barbarians is very mistaken. Although they do not have a large country, they are extremely organized (According to one of their most important legends, the greatest deyan unites them and creates their country.). Their cities are developed and well-equipped, full of treasures (gems, jewels, minerals, etc.). Since they lived isolated from other peoples for a long time and had contact with only a few people, they think about some basic things differently. This is also the order of the names. They put the last name first and the first name behind. Among the Deyans, the Siniga family has been the strongest for many years, so they lead the people. Yiwa is considered to be the center of the family's territories as well as the center of the Deaya Desert. Yiwa is a huge city. It has fortified walls and well-defended positions. It is inhabited by approximately 1 million people, so it is rightly called the capital of the Deyans. It is also home to the main temple of Reyan (Reyan is a deity). Exactly how the Deyans use magic is shrouded in a thick fog of mystery, a secret the Deyans keep even after their death.

You hear some noise around you, but only very muffled. Your head hurts a lot, you can't open your eyes and your senses are quite dull. You try to move, but your body hurts so much that you prefer not to try again. You hear a muffled sound that sounds like speech.

You try to remember what happened, but your head and body hurt too much, so you can't concentrate. You hear the voice again, this time more clearly and now you are sure it is a human voice. You feel very faintly (you almost don't even feel it anymore) that someone is biting your mouth and pouring something into it, then swallowing it with you. Suddenly, all your nerves are tensed and you start to feel it. Then you feel the unbearably bitter taste in your mouth and throat. You squint your eyes and sit up coughing.

A stranger drinks water with you and helps you stay seated. A few moments later, your senses become completely clear. You look around. You are in a large room, on a big, soft, white bed. With huge windows without glass, which would be covered by two layers (one thin and one thick) of curtains, if the thick one were not pulled aside. Several richly decorated, soft-looking carpets are spread on the floor. Beautiful plants hang down from the high ceiling. In front of you, you see a huge, ornate stone door. It seems as if there is some kind of writing on it, but you don't look at it more carefully, because you suddenly notice someone next to you.

Everything okay? Are you better now? -

the strange man asks you. She has dark brown hair, sun tanned skin and clear emerald green eyes. She wears what appears to be a multi-piece outfit. A dark brown scarf-like material was loosely tied around her neck. His eyes radiate concern and curiosity.

He smiles reassuringly at you.

Don't be afraid, you're safe here. What's your name? -

he asks and hands you a bowl with a square cloth in it

Put it on your forehead! It helps it not hurt so much.
