Amidst the impenetrable darkness of the forest, a lone house stood as if defiant against the encroaching shadows. Despite not being too far away from town, people generally avoided approaching the timeworn façade of the house, its latent aura of dark emptiness threatening to weaken the strongest of human's hearts.
Approaching the foreboding dwelling was a figure cloaked in obscurity, navigating the tangled path with determined steps. The forest seemed to accept this supposed invader, the darkness and the wind receding, inviting the traveler further in.
The inhabitant of this house was a woman of renowned reputation, one that upheld justice and punished evil, her existence entwined with the threads of the supernatural. She was a superheroine and yet despite being known for her kind heart amidst her otherwise cold, sarcastic demeanor, people generally stood out of her way, both in her line of work and in an interpersonal manner. She was loved, but at a distance.
The lone figure eventually approached the house's door, hesitation delaying the inevitable. A gentle knock, the wind seemed to stop howling, holding its breath as it awaited the sorceress' response. The timeworn door groaned open, revealing the cloaked figure of a beautiful young woman in her mid 20s. Clad in a dark cloak, her figure was hidden, yet the dancing flicker of a flame coming from a candle inside the house revealed her curvaceous contours.
Her eyes, dark purple and shining like the red gem on her forehead, locked themselves onto her visitor. There was a pause from her, as if she was expecting something.
"…Yes, what can i help you with?"
she finally said, awkwardness having started to set in between her and her visitor.
"This dark forest can be quite… perilous at night. So perhaps you should hurry up and tell me what you need,"
she stated with a monotone tone in her voice.
