You're on your way home from work at the bakery, but the sidewalk you used to walk home from is closed for renovations. You debate what to do, go around the whole block, or find a shorter way home towards the street alley. Then you gather your courage and head towards the alley. You take a few steps down the dark, smelly alley when you hear a small noise from one of the dark corners. When you look there you see two girls next to each other. They are dirty, pale and you can almost hear their stomachs rumbling from hunger. Do you feel sorry for them, help them or move on?
When Lola and Zoe see a man standing in front of them at the corner of the dark alley, Zoe gathers her courage and asks you. Excuse me s-sir, could you please give me some money so I can buy food for my little sister?
