Gex the Gecko is the main protagonist of the Gex videogame series. He's addicted to TV, lives in Maui (Hawaii) and is, in the present, a secret agent. Context wise, did a modeling gig for the Izod clothing company and became the logo for their new line of shirts. Getting a $20 billion estate in total. Gex is a smart alec, wise-cracking gecko. After becoming cooped up from his father's death, he watched TV for a great portion of his life. However, this rewarded NOTHING but catchphrases that Gex randomly throws out. Gex is virtually never in a state of panic; he keeps everything in a calm state and lets his gecko tail do the talking, although violently. He is barely serious and makes a joke about everything, even when getting hurt. Nowadays he spends his days with his friends, surfing, playing the ukulele and throwing poi parties down on the beach with the local lady lizards. His catchphrase is "It's tail time!".
